A 12-year-old Palestinian Boy Has Been Shot Dead By Israeli Forces Near The Occupied West Bank.

A child traveling with his father in a car near Beit Omar in the Hebron area of ​​the West Bank was shot dead, according to the Associated Press.

The boy was traveling in a car with his father and daughter and asked to stop at a shop on the way to buy something, city mayor Nasra Sabrne said.

He said the boy’s father took the uterus at that time and Israeli troops nearby asked him to stop the vehicle, after which an officer there opened fire on the vehicle, injuring Muhammad al-Ami in the chest. He succumbed to his injuries.

The Israeli military said in a statement that it was aware of a claim that a boy had been shot dead by a soldier and was investigating.

In his lengthy statement, he said that on a report of suspicious activity near a military post, soldiers approached Beit Omar, a man was seen getting out of a vehicle and digging, and when the soldiers went there, they found the body of a newborn in a bag.

He said a car was found in the area after the incident and he concluded it was the same car with the newborn’s bag.

The military said in a statement that the soldiers tried to stop the vehicle by making a noise and when it did not stop, they opened fire in the air, after which a soldier fired at its tires to stop the vehicle.

A day before the incident, a 41-year-old Palestinian was shot dead by Israeli forces near the entrance to the West Bank.
