London: Extraordinary Benefits Of Berries Continue To Emerge And Now It Has Been Revealed About Blueberries That They Not Only Control Diabetes But Can Be Beneficial For The Heart.

According to a report published in the research journal Lincoln Nutrition, daily consumption of a cup of blueberries keeps the heart healthy overall. This is because of the magical chemical ingredients that are common in blueberries. They contain large amounts of anthocyanins and phenolics. They also control cholesterol.

The study, conducted by scientists at the University of East Anglia, involved only 45 people, including 29 men and 16 women, who were fed one cup of blueberries a day for six months.

All of these people were fed with energy-rich food. For this, 26 grams of blueberry powder was added in the amount of 500 grams of a thick drink like Malik Shake. The reason is that this drink was the equivalent of a large burger, soft drink and fries in terms of calories. The other group was given a drink like Malik Shake and a fake powder but the effect was not as light and fast food.

Blood samples were taken 30, 60, 90, 120, 180 and 360 minutes after each heavy meal. The test found levels of insulin, glucose, lipids and lipoproteins. Earlier this process was continued for 21 days.

It was found that people who used blueberry powder despite a heavy diet did not have high cholesterol and blood sugar levels remained in the range.
