Dengue: 90% Of The Beds In Government Hospitals In Lahore Are Full

The dengue situation in Lahore is getting worse and up to 90% of the beds in government hospitals are full of patients.

According to the news, 49 patients have been admitted in Expo Center Dengi Field Hospital. More than 500 certified dengue patients have been reported in three days.

In the last 24 hours, 262 patients were reported across Punjab and 184 in Lahore.

In view of increasing cases, the district administration of Lahore has activated a dengue field hospital with 280 beds in the exposure center.

The hospital examined more than 500 suspected patients of the epidemic during the 48 hours, out of which 49 certified patients were admitted.

According to our correspondent Hum News, there are no beds for patients in Jinnah, Gangaram and General Hospitals, other hospitals have also filled up to 90% of the dengue.

Health officials say citizens should first call the rescue helpline and then go to a hospital to avoid trouble.

According to the health department, all treatment at the expo center, including CBC, is free, while private laboratories have been issued a letter to test dengue suspects for Rs 90.
