Israeli Forces Fire On Palestinians During Protests In The West Bank

One Palestinian Was Killed And Several Others Were Injured When Israeli Forces Opened Fire On Protesters In The West Bank.

According to the Reuters news agency, the incident took place in the south of the Palestinian city of Nablus, where Palestinians have protested against the Israeli settlements several times in recent times.

The Israeli military has not immediately commented on the incident.

Palestinian medical experts say at least eight Palestinians were hit by rubber bullets during Friday’s protests.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said one of them had a head injury and died at the hospital.

The West Bank is one of the territories occupied by Israel after the 1967 war in the Middle East, where Palestinians want a state of their own. Later, violent incidents occur there from time to time.

Palestinians have begun a series of daily protests in the village of Beta, south of Nablus, to protest the construction of nearby Israeli settler buildings, often with Israeli soldiers. There are violent clashes.

The settlers agreed to leave the outpost in July under an agreement with Israeli Prime Minister Naphtali Bennett.

It is clear that many of these buildings are locked and under the protection of military guards, but the Palestinians have vowed to continue their protests.

Most countries consider these ghettos illegal, but Israel claims the land, citing its historical and political ties.
