The United States Has Warned Tehran Of “Serious Consequences” After Iran Blacklisted 51 Senior Us Officials And Officials For Their Alleged Involvement In The Assassination Of General Qasim Soleimani.

According to the Associated Press (AP), the US National Security Adviser has asked Tehran to refrain from targeting the Americans.

In a statement, White House National Security Adviser Jack Sullivan threatened Iran with “serious consequences” and said “make no mistake, the United States will protect and defend its citizens.”

It may be recalled that yesterday, Iran had announced to blacklist 51 US officials and officials, including former US President Donald Trump.

These American officials were added to the list by Iran because of their role in the death of Iranian commander Qasim Soleimani.

It may be recalled that even a year ago, Iran imposed sanctions on Donald Trump and several senior US officials and a few days ago, on the occasion of the second anniversary of General Qasim Soleimani, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi had said that But if Qasim Soleimani’s murder case is not prosecuted, then revenge will be taken from America.

It should be noted that on January 3, 2020, the US military led by the then US President Donald Trump killed General Qasim Soleimani in an air strike at the airport in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, and his deputies were also killed in this incident.
